Wedding Highlight Film: Lauren Kay and Adam Soufleris
All weddings that I have the opportunity and fortune to be a part of always touch me in one way or another. I have to say that this one, however, touched me in so many ways. Working closely with Lauren Kay and her effervescent and graceful mother, Kristine truly impacted me. I am so appreciative when I, too, can learn or re-learn, what is at the heart of love for your partner and love for your family. Lauren and Kristine reminded me of that in so many ways.
I urge you to watch this highlight film all the way through; it's worth your time and heart! Such beautiful gestures, a marvelous backdrop at The Ringling Museum of Art; even a surprise performance of "All you Need is Love" during the recessional! {as inspired by everybody's favorite romantic comedy, Love Actually!} And for the record, my FAVORITE vows in my career. Just beautiful!

Ringling Museum Wedding: Michelle and Paul
You are going to want to grab a glass of wine and a Kleenex for this one, friends!
Michelle and Paul were childhood sweethearts, {listen to the pastor during the ceremony!} and let me tell you, love and style were in the air!
A perfect Florida day with a Sarasota pink sunset, a ceremony and cocktail hour at the awe-inspiring Ringling Museum, and a lovely reception at The Ritz Carlton.
It, and this couple, don't get much more perfect than that!

A Wedding "Plan B" to Love!
For those who worry about making a rain call which brings your wedding inside, this was the "Plan B" for my couple Erin and David. No less intimate, no less beautiful. We brought all of our design elements inside and it worked is spades. I adored this wedding!

Sentimental Wedding Dress Display
I am so delighted to be displaying a bride's mother's wedding dress {and hopefully her grandmother's as well!} at her wedding reception similar to this breathtaking image by The Schultzes. The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art will serve as the most perfect backdrop! *swoon!*

Wedding Window: Preview to Jenn and David's Wedding

We are Sarasota-bound this weekend!
My longest and tried-and-true associate, Nancy Klein is spear-heading this weekend's fun wedding weekend, and has been working very closely with Jenn and David for some time now.
We share in their excitement and look forward to what will be an exceptional and memorable wedding weekend.
Equally as exciting will be working with Abby Liga on the OTHER side of the camera! She'd better follow Nancy's timeline with complete accuracy; this time as a bridesmaid...
Looking forward!

Friday's Chic Syle Sheet: May 2, 2008

I have heard the phrase, "The Art of the Party" used quite often as you can imagine.
Its actually quite poignant given what I do for a living and what I have enjoy doing my entire life: entertaining-
I, for one, am so weary of hearing how bleak the economy is with even more dismal forecasts on the horizon.
Personally, I don't think that will change our need or desire to want to entertain guests or throw parties. Rather, I believe the need to do so and do so with flair and style is ever present, but in a more intimate setting.
Today, the "Art of the Party" is found through Social Couture. This fabulous website offers product, themes, tips, recipes and more to give you that boost for hosting your stylish soiree.
The particular images that I love above can be used in bridal showers, bridesmaids luncheons and rehearsal dinners.
Take a complete departure from your wedding design to have more fun with the options that are available to you. Trust me, as a "design" person with ADD this is perfect for me! I feel like I love EVERY style, how could I ever choose??
Often asked, "If you had to do it all over again, what "style" would you choose for yourself?"
**Phew!**
Now...I can have it all!!

Luck Comes in 3's...

Luck comes in 3's...that's what they say anyway-
Who am I to prove them wrong??
E Events has 3 very exciting announcements and we'll start with the first:
The West Coast is fully operational, up and running!
Anyone who knows me knows that I have made every single business move (since it's inception!) with my long time partner, but even longer (and better!), confidant and best girlfriend Nancy Klein. Our continual optimism was tested nearly 2 years ago when Nancy's family had been relocated to Sarasota. Like any good partnership, we have maintained our priorities and have re-allocated our business strategy.
Spearheading the "West Coast" operation, Nancy has forged new and great relationships with the prominent properties that the West Coast of Florida has to offer as well as establishing a formidable client and vendor team base.
I couldn't have asked for better "lemonade" as her move a couple of years ago just seemed like an abyss of lemons!
The website will soon reflect our West Coast operation, however, please feel free to call Nancy at 407-366-6640 extension 3 or 1-888-366-6640 extension 3 or contact her via email: eevents@tampabay.rr.com
Our new head shots are forthcoming as well, but as a reminder, Nancy is the sassy one on the right of our last team picture (taken by Mark Pennington)consisting of myself, Nancy and Terri.
Hmmm...there is a 4th member which may soon lead us to our next big announcement...!!!
