Wedding Video Trailer: Lisa and Keith Hargrove

The stars were in alignment when I met and began working with Lisa Campbell & Keith Hargrove. They wanted a destination wedding in the Caribbean, friend and colleague Tami Corday had just been transferred to The Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman and it's all been a match made in island heaven...

Likewise, I recruited partners to travel with me down to Grand Cayman like Lindsey Luxa with Dragonfly Custom Design who designed from here , and new "friend-partners," Joanne & Keisha with Celebrations already established and widely successful on the island that I knew could pull off this sophisticated island wedding weekend off flawlessly.

Our wedding weekend began last Thursday as Garrett and Joy Nudd, Jeffrey Stoner, Jessy and myself flew in to Grand Cayman and checked into the luxe Ritz Carlton. Wedding guests were received by attractive, informative and delicious welcome bags in their rooms and a welcome reception to kick off the weekend on the right note.

Friday boasted a perfect rehearsal dinner off property at a quaint waterside restaurant on the island called The Wharf.

All goodness prevailed on Saturday when we all experienced prime weather for our set, the ceremony and portraits to follow.

Sincere heartfelt gratitude goes out to those friends and partners who contributed their time, talent and hearts to facilitating such a memorable wedding for Lisa and Keith...

The weekend was somehow captured to emotional perfection in this wedding trailer produced by Jeffrey Stoner on the day we arrived back from Grand Cayman. Always moving, always captivating--this trailer keeps you wanting more.

Enjoy reliving this past weekend in paradise!

Wedding Video Trailer: Tanya & Carl Eldemire

As challenging as it remains for me to appropriately describe the look, mood and sound of Tanya and Carl's wedding this past Saturday, I am so grateful to not have to rely on my vocabulary! Instead, I have the opportunity to present the most touching moments in 2 breathtaking minutes...

It is, in my opinion, such a rewarding investment to enhance your wedding video with a "teaser trailer." Presented on line by Jeffrey Stoner a mere 24 hours after the wedding, friends and family can share and reminisce your finest moments on your finest day. Jeffrey even gave Tanya specific instructions on how to load it to her Facebook page! Gotta' love technology--

Here, you will see what Saturday meant to Tanya & Carl Eldemire, their family, friends...and even team! We all adored this couple so much--this day, and all it's glory could not have been more well deserved.

Introducing "Just 'Cause..."

Wednesday evening, Susan Southerland, Kristy Chenell {by proxy!} and I were overjoyed to announce the launch of our non-profit community project, "Just 'Cause" in a rather unconventional way...A party with upwards of 130 wedding industry professionals and friends socializing and partaking in a couple of friendly games of kickball!

Just 'Cause is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting and giving back to the Central Florida community in way of school dance dresses for underprivileged young teenage girls.

Enlisting the gracious support and talent of those professionals in the national wedding industry well known to founders, Susan Southerland, Lisa Konecny and Kristy Chenell, they have set out to provide stylish, couture dresses from the donation of bridesmaids’ gowns.

Spearheading a “grass roots” effort, they have requested the donation of bridesmaids’ dresses after their use from personal clientele. They intend to collect dresses that can be altered to fit the need and style of underprivileged girls with a desire to attend a homecoming, prom or social celebration with confidence.

With this endeavor, the incredible aptitude from local seamstresses, budding designers and stylists will be appointed to secure an appropriate and sophisticated look for our young girls per their individual specifications.

Drop off points throughout the Orlando area such as The Portofino Bay Hotel, Perfect Wedding Guide's corporate office, Write In Style's studio and Solutions Bridal Salon have been secured as well as preliminary plans for an early Spring event for girls to select a dress. For those interested in launching the program to additional US cities, please contact:

E Events {new!} Team Video Debut by Jeffrey Stoner!

Last night at our kickball party, {that was as good a place as any!} I had the pleasure to debut our newest promotional video produced by the unparalleled, Jeffrey Stoner.

Abby Liga creatively masterminded a day where she got all 3 "E-Ladies" into a studio {no simple feat} to capture our 2010 headshots, team pictures and spirit. It was fully and silly day where we were able to bring racks of clothes, accessories, balloons, music and...SHOES! Intently and, most importantly, patiently-- Jeffrey was subtly in the wings capturing some fun footage for this quick 60 second piece.

It received such a wonderful response last night at the party which is a huge testament to their talent...

I couldn't be more thrilled or impressed with the result and remain grateful to both Abby and Jeffrey for their love and support.

UNBRIDLED: My favorite wedding friends like...Sarah Hanna!

Keeping this entry succinct and concise may prove to be a demanding task for me for my latest wedding friend interview...

Where does one begin when trying to describe the illustrious and effervescent Sarah Hanna?? I have such a profound admiration and respect for this young lady--well, let's face it; "dame!" Wise beyond her years, I never lose sight of the little girl that is forever tapping at her spirit and calling out to the rest of us when things get so...serious.

Widely esteemed in the wedding industry both locally and nationally, Sarah actually hails from an artistic and creative family. Also touting a keen interest in the visual and culinary arts, Sarah reckons attention to detail in all of her projects.

Since many of us seem to be incredibly well-acquainted with the woman behind the finest calligraphy and art, I say we raise our glasses of Proseco {a favorite shared between the two of us!} in learning the true "soul" that is Sarah Hanna...

Itching to work with: Sarah {free spirit that she is!!} left this one blank, so I shall answer for her: Lisa Konecny. Wait--we've done that countless times--including this weekend. Okay then--perhaps Lisa Konecny in conjunction with the entertainment committee over at Lincoln Center or the Julliard. Boy, we could pull off a swell fete for them, couldn't we, Sarah??

Fashion Obsessions: Calvin Tran. The man, the legend.

Beauty must-haves: Fabulous hats that say, 'take me to Ascot, dahhling.'

Office/Work must haves: Pandora music

Speed dialing: Every Thai and Vietnamese take-out in a 10 mile radius of my studio

Can’t get enough of: The Daily Show

Jonesing to: go sailing in the Greek islands

Current work project: Mixed media fine art commissions incorporating wedding vows...perfect for the first anniversary (traditionally paper) or just as an excuse to add something beautifully customized to your home. I calligraph the vows throughout the piece, using the words as design elements (see detail shot of one of my works in progress). The finished artwork is layered with meaning so there is always something more to discover.

Current personal project: I replaced my dining room table with a baby grand piano. To quote Rodney Dangerfield, "I love to drink and sing. My friends would rather hear me drink."

Necessary extravagance: Cartier hand-painted correspondence cards (available at The Paper Shop). There is not a more elegant way to say what you have to say.

If I weren't an artist: That's easy. I would be a chef.

In my bag: a wine key and a passport

Recent discovery: The Inn at Palmetto Bluff. It is truly divinity on a platter.

Craving: Sarah missed this one too, so here I go again...How about another slumber party with my girls where we make homemade pizza, drink Proseco and invite a nice boy over for some cake? :)

*Fun, fearless and frivolous flashbacks*

ONE

Your daughter Sara's 5th grade spelling bee. She wrote me the most poised, gracious thank-you note for the roses I'd brought her. The note stayed on my fridge for, I am not kidding, two years! I thought Hillary miiiight have been beat her to it, but your daughter is going to be the first female President. That's right - you heard it here first.

TWO

Your daughter Carolina's game, 'Follow The Dog.' For those of you not familiar with the dinner-time festivities at the Konecny home, 'Follow the Dog' is a game where Carolina cuts out a paper tail, tapes it to the contestants' behind, and literally follows the dog around the house - doing every thing the dog does. When she was small enough, Carolina would put on socks so that she could ski behind the dog. The best part is that Lisa would find pieces of paper all over the house with cut-out tails - ha! I love that you have encouraged such creativity in your girls!

THREE

After we had first met, we had lunch at Park Plaza and you told stories about living in New York and taking your daughters back to visit. You had me laughing so hard at 'the subway episode,' I remember hoping we'd be friends for a very long time.

Great Expectations...Meredith and Justin

Tomorrow, we embark 3 days of execution and celebration after months of designing and planning.

Working with Meredith McGrath and Justin Sand {and mother, Alexis!} has been such a refreshing and inspiring perk to my everyday work lifestyle.

Playfully dubbed as my "anti-bride," Meredith has mostly trusted my interpretation of what she has explained to me her ideal wedding to be. NOT typical, no "fromage" {cheesy!} effortless, intimate at certain points {particularly the ceremony} and entirely fun.

With absolute certainty and resolve, I have the best of the best accompanying me this weekend to pull it all off while pulling out all the stops.

I think these fantastic images by Mark Pennington truly capture the essence of Meredith and Justin, both as a couple and as individuals.

Here. We...GO!!!
