Presidential (and Presidential hopefuls)! Weddings
I think that many of my couples, by the end of a glorious evening, can relate to the below image of Mr. President and our stylish First Lady! Wedding date: October 3, 1992

Happy President's Day!
I am enjoying a lovely dy off with my family, but let's face it, I can find a wedding related topic on any holiday!
What do you, or will you, have in common with our President and our Presidential hopefuls wedding? Date? Style?
Barack and Michelle Obama:
The couple were married at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. In keeping with Barack’s Kenyan roots, some of the guests, including Malik, wore traditional African dress.
The couple was married by Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. in a traditional Christian ceremony.
Following the vows, a reception was held at the South Shore Cultural Center, a run-down formerly all-white Country Club.
Ron and Carol Paul:
During Ron's senior year, he and Carol were married on February 1, 1957 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania at Dormont Presbyterian Church. They had about 300 guests at their evening wedding.
The wedding reception was held at The Dormont New Century Club. They had a four-tiered traditional style wedding cake.
Their first dance as a married couple was to Doris Day's "When I Fall in Love." Ron was 21 years old and Carol was 20 years old.
Mitt and Ann Romney:
Ann Davies and Mitt Romney were married by a church elder in a civil ceremony on March 21, 1969, at her Bloomfield Hills home, with a reception afterward at a local country club. The following day the couple flew to Utah for a wedding ceremony inside the Salt Lake Temple; her family could not attend since they were non-Mormons, but were present at a subsequent wedding breakfast held for them across the street.
